This page explains what information Mycelium collects when you visit gomycelium.com or work with us, how we use it, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, email hello@gomycelium.com and we'll explain in plain language.
Who we are
Mycelium is an AI business operations service based in Sarasota, Florida. When we refer to "we," "us," or "our," we mean Mycelium. You can reach us at hello@gomycelium.com.
Information we collect
Automatically, when you visit the site
Standard web analytics: pages visited, how long, browser type, approximate location by region, referring site. These help us understand what's working and what to improve. We use Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics for this.
When you contact us or book a call
If you email us or book a discovery call through Calendly, we collect your name, email, and whatever you choose to share about your business.
When you become a client
We collect the information necessary to deliver services: business details, content samples, voice recordings (with your permission), and credentials needed to connect to the platforms you ask us to manage. This is covered in your service agreement.
How we use information
- To respond to your questions and schedule conversations
- To understand how our website is used and improve it
- To deliver services if you become a client
- To send occasional updates (no more than monthly) — you can unsubscribe any time
We do not sell your information. We don't share it with advertisers. We don't build profiles on you to resell.
Third parties we use
We rely on a small number of vendors to run the site and our business. Each has its own privacy policy.
- Google Analytics — web usage analytics
- Vercel — website hosting and performance analytics
- Calendly — scheduling discovery calls
If you become a client, we'll list any additional services we use on your behalf in your service agreement and ask for your authorization before connecting anything.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies for analytics and site functionality. Most browsers let you block or delete them. If you block analytics cookies, the site will still work.
Data retention
- Analytics data: retained per Google Analytics defaults (26 months)
- Contact and call inquiries: kept up to 2 years, then deleted
- Client data: kept for the duration of our relationship plus 7 years for tax and legal reasons
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Request a copy of the information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct or delete it
- Opt out of analytics tracking
- Confirm that we are not selling your personal information (we don't)

How we protect information
We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest. Access to client information is limited to the team members who need it. We don't store credentials in plain text.
Children
Our services are not directed to anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we'll post the change here and update the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be communicated to active clients directly.
